The "WOMEN SELF-PORTRAIT & SELF-EMPOWERMENT PROJECT" stems from a desire to enhance women through therapeutic photography sessions. The project is structured in 3 steps: one moment for an "unaware" Self-portrait, a break to state one's own definition of femininity, one "conscious" portrait guided by the photographer. This project lends itself to be proposed in corporate events, workshops, training meetings, schools and beauty centers. The short but powerful experience does not require psychological support, as it does not constitute psychotherapy. It is proposed an exercise of awareness and self representation, which goes to investigate the perceptive structures of the participants and to encourage their empowerment and confidence.

BORN IN MILAN IN 1985, GRADUATED WITH FULL MARKS AND HONOUR IN INTERACTIVE AND VISUAL ARTS AT BRERA ACADEMY. INTERESTED IN DIFFERENT BODY LANGUAGE EXPRESSIONS FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY, DANCE, YOGA, CHINESE MEDICINE, SHE PROMOTES DIFFERENT KIND OF SOCIAL EXPERIMENTATIONS. IN 2008, SHE SPECIALIZED IN PHOTOGRAPHY AT IED MILAN AND SHE STARTED TO WORK AS A FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER WITH COMMUNICATION AGENCIES, OBTAINING HER FIRST PUBLISHED WORKS IN MAGAZINES AND GALLERIES. TO GET NEW EXPERIENCES SHE LIVED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS IN NEW YORK, MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY.
